Tank Body: The tank body has a practical design with two sloped cones connected to the front and rear ends, all mounted on the truck frame. This part serves as the main load carrier. To make access easier, the tank includes a feed port (or manhole), a non-slip platform, and a ladder so loading and maintenance workers can get in and out easily. Inside the tank, you’ll find a slide plate, an air chamber, and a fluidized bed with a porous plate or special canvas to help with unloading. It also has a discharge port and reinforcement ribs for added stability. The tank body can come in different shapes—V-shaped, W-shaped, or a simpler, straight design—to handle various loading needs.
What is the working principle of the powder tanker ?
The vehicle-mounted air compressor is powered by either its own engine or the main engine of the truck, using a power take-off drive shaft or pulley. Compressed air is sent through a pipeline into the tank’s air chamber, which makes the powder and granular materials on the fluidized bed lift and move into a fluid-like state. Once the pressure inside the tank reaches the right level, the unloading butterfly valve is opened, and the materials flow smoothly out through the unloading system.
